This is after three trips sketching standing this, late in the afternoon.
It's a hard subject. Between the detail in the mountains, all the different kinds of foliage in the mid ground and, finally, getting the perspective right
on the building, it can drive a person nuts.
There's been a lot of erasing in the history of this sketch that you cannot see. Should have scanned each version...Next time...
