A couple quick sketches I did Monday, the 5th of May, up Cold Springs Canyon, Montecito.

The water flowing clear and strong after a full two and a half inches of rain a couple days before. I did this sitting on a rock in the middle of the stream.

The actual size of these two is five inches by seven and a half.

On the way back down the hill, I found these caves in the sandstone wall. Very Goth looking. The sketch really doesn't do them justice
