Sketching at the Santa Barbara Harbor
This is one of the fishing many boats in the Santa Barbara
harbor. I remember it from when I was a child. It's looking kind of in need
of a paint job. Bad for the boat, but good for an artist...lots of interesting
rust spots and stuff.
Continuing work on the sketch from week of Feb.
9-15/03
This is still far from finished. I did
two of these - still just the undercoloring. It was the day before it rained
that I did the sky, and this morning, in the sun, that I did the greenery. I
must go back when it's gray again to get it all cohesive.
